Back in ’92, we went to Cannes uninvited, crashing our way in because we knew young creatives deserved a seat at the table. We weren’t given access, so we took it. Fast forward to 2025, and we’re still going to Cannes… but this time, it’s different.
Because somewhere along the way, the festival lost its touch. It became a creative theme park with too many rollercoasters and no clear map. While outside the gates of the festival the real experience starts. The spontaneous conversations, the 2am ideas over way too expensive wine, the hungover connections that can shape futures.
That’s why we’re still going to Cannes, just not the festival. We’re saying goodbye to the main event and hello to the YoungDogs house: a creative sanctuary where we invite ad leaders from around the world to inspire our young creatives. Smaller. Slower. More human.
With this year's theme ‘Gap Year’ we’re shifting our mindsets focussing on personal development, genuine connections and interactive inspiration. We’re stepping back - not stepping away - and when we return, it’ll be with fresh ideas, new energy, and probably a few questionable tattoos.
Yes of course, there’s still going to be a YoungDogs party. The ‘Gap Year Party’ will take place on Tuesday and tickets are available on Eventbrite (link below).
If you come, don’t forget to come say hi and connect with us. We are there for it.
