All digital roads lead to Amsterdam
Belongs to pitch: IAmsterdam 24hrs pitch
The gaming industry is happening in Amsterdam. So why bother to stay in
Keulen or anywhere else for that matter. Let’s go to Amsterdam!
start with a guerrilla stunt, followed by a print campaign and a viral/
commercial. Images below can be used as both print and film/ viral.
A bus will be standing in front of the conference
centre. Free bus tickets to Amsterdam will be handed out. The gaming
industry is happening in Amsterdam so come with us, for a free trip to
No one is going to take the bus, because they will be
attending the conference. The ones who do will get a tour ala ‘Guerrilla
Of course, on the bus ticket will be information about
Amsterdam as the Gaming Capital introduced and maintained by I Amsterdam
and Amsterdam in Business
Day 2 (17-8-10)
On the second day,
game heroes changed their mind. They still want to go to Amsterdam. But
missed the bus. On the street they will be collecting money for a train
ticket, by performing street theatre (busking, making crappy rope
jewellery, miming, etc).
A sign in front of them says: “Desperately
seeking a creative challenge”, or “in dire need of regeneration”, or
“searching for a better online connection”, “need a fresh perspective”,
followed by: “Please spare a few Euros for a ticket to Amsterdam.”
Different heroes from games will be standing next to the
road in and around Keulen and in front of the conference centre,
hitchhiking to Amsterdam.
A sign says: “Gaming is happening in
Amsterdam, please give me a ride.”
